SIGMOD是数据库领域最著名的会议之一，甚至说它是Top1的会议也不为过。在2007年的SIGMOD会议上，上述两篇文章是比较有代表性的好文。
Leveraging Data and Structure in Ontology Integrationleveraging-data-and-structure-in-ontology-integration.pdf来源于美国马里兰大学。他们这篇文章最主要的特点就是扎实，没有太多的技术上的炫耀，但是你可以看出他们对于本体匹配的一些理解，特别是如何结合实例数据和本体结构用于本体匹配。
Compiling Mappings to Bridge Applications and Databasescompiling-mappings-to-bridge-applications-and-databases.pdf来源为美国微软研究院，它的第一作者也是很有影响的similarity flooding一文的作者。这篇文章也很有工业价值，按照文章的说法，该项工作已经被集成到未来ADO.net中（他们在SIGMOD 2007上还有两篇相关文章讲述这一主题）。这篇文章考虑的是工业界需要engineered mappings（要求准确、人工参与），它通过这些engineered mappings构建复杂的映射结果，其最重要的特点是如何找到一个双射函数
